Fat Loss and Fitness
- 30 Minute Sessions!
- Core Training/Stability built into every exercise
- True “Functional” Fitness
- Increased Energy
Our time efficient sessions last 30 minutes, plus 10-15 minutes of dynamic warmup and cooldown. We incorporate total body workouts that will help stimulate your metabolism to burn more fat and hit your core from every possible angle, giving you the highest carryover to your work or sport demands.
Whether you are looking to lose weight or are a runner or golfer looking to increase performance, while decreasing your risk of injury, you are in the right spot.
We use a unique combination of high and low tech equipment including sandbags, TRX suspension training, and Ropes Gone Wild training ropes – named “Best New Fitness Gear” in Men’s Health (April 2009).
We may have you hiking or running up an incline on the high speed treadmill, sprinting on the Xiser mini-stepper or using your own bodyweight as resistance. We also utilize the Power Plate vibration platform to help stimulate your metabolism and allow you to get your workout done quickly. Many athletes have recently been using vibration platforms as part of their warmup and fitness and wellness centers are now using them, also. The platform creates 25-35 reflexive muscle contractions per second – helping create a fast, efficient workout with minimal joint stress.
Sessions include exercises on the platform combined with low tech exercises off the platform in a circuit – hitting all your muscles for maximum efficiency. Most every exercise we do is in a standing position to increase balance, coordination, and core stability. This is true “functional” fitness.
Training with sandbags, suspension trainers and flexbands hits your core from multiple angles. A strong, flat midsection is the result, along with a reduced risk of low back pain and increased performance.
You will also work on flexibility and joint mobility for a well rounded program. Joint mobility training can be done on your “off” days to help with recovery or to help manage chronic issues. Indian clubs are also utilized to enhance posture and build dynamic flexibility for your wrists, elbows and shoulders.
